spiritual matters

So, is it that — in spiritual matters — to be a follower is to miss?
Is it that finding one’s way out of one’s own normal, invisible and dreamlike condition
can’t be done by proxy or by just asking or believing?

Is it that all spiritual paths are individual even if they appear to be similar?
Is it that everyone, in the end, is his or her own spiritual guru?

Could the greatest heroic act be the identity (the ego) giving up itself
on behalf of the being? Is that the way it happens?

Is this an adventure that many seek out when they realize or suspect
that there’s a lot more — and that money, good works, power, fame, popularity
or poverty can’t make it happen?

Can a limitless world really be discovered through a tear in the tent of language?
