The following foods are highly recommended by nutrition experts.

fruits
vegetables (kale, broccoli, etc. etc.)
beans
onions and garlic
mushrooms
seeds
nuts
berries

The fewer carbohydrates (bread, candy, etc.) we eat the better for 
our health.

The above listed foods have high-quality proteins.
However, we may need more proteins. I recommend
canned 
wild-caught pink salmon. (Double “Q” is a good brand.)

Processed foods will keep us alive but lack some of their nutrients.
Fresh food is best.
